For over a decade, NeuroID has helped businesses uncover sophisticated fraud attacks with behavioral analytics. Our data provides net-new insights for most businesses, revealing risk that other tools can’t see.
As part of Experian, our view of the fraud landscape is only widening, and the insights we uncover are deeper than ever. Experian brings decades of fraud expertise and a global data ecosystem that complements NeuroID’s behavioral insights. Together, we’re giving businesses a holistic view of fraud risk — covering everything from identity theft to first-party fraud — and opening new doors for conversations, strategies and solutions that weren’t possible before.
Helping businesses see the full picture
Experian’s wide-reaching fraud ecosystem and rich data makes them a leader in fraud analytics for fraud types of all kinds. With Experian’s expertise and solutions alongside our own, the NeuroID team is able to be even more prescriptive with our clients. We have a deeper understanding of the challenges they’re facing and, if NeuroID isn’t best suited to solve the problem at hand, we’re able to recommend an Experian product that can with a clear vision for how it fits into businesses’ existing strategies.
This extends beyond third-party fraud, which has traditionally been NeuroID’s specialty, and into first-party fraud. First-party fraud is a challenge for businesses because it’s difficult to separate from credit risk — a challenge that Experian is uniquely positioned to solve for.
Experian’s data and research on the topic gives us a window into how first-party fraud is impacting businesses, which allows our behavioral experts to take a more holistic approach when supporting clients who face both first- and third-party fraud threats. This broadened perspective opens the door for us to have conversations about first-party fraud types and prevention strategies we haven’t before — you can watch one of those conversations now.
Meeting the needs of an evolving landscape
Experian’s data and investments in behavior help businesses act on the insights we uncover. In the last year, Experian’s support has helped us expand our integration capabilites, making behavior accessible to more businesses. Large enterprises, who are at the center of many of the fraud threats identified in Experian’s research, can now deploy behavior at a scale that wasn’t possible before the acquisition.
We’re building on this foundation with expanded and upgraded behavioral analytics products. Our Account Defense solution has been enhanced with new signals for scam detection, providing businesses with real-time protection against evolving schemes. All in all, our first year with Experian has yielded a stronger, more agile NeuroID that’s effective for more businesses and fraud types than ever before.
Moving forward together
The past year has shown what’s possible when behavioral intelligence meets global fraud expertise — and the future of fraud prevention is just getting started.
Moving forward, we’ll work with the Experian team to bring even more insights to fraud leaders. Expect to see us sharing more of what we learn, both from our behavioral perspective and Experian’s data, and using our findings to stay ahead of evolving fraudsters.
